Adult Day Care
Perhaps you have come to realize your loved, who is being cared for by you, needs more than you can give. This is a common situation for a lot of families. There is just too much to do and too little time to get it accomplished, in addition to caring for a parent or relative full-time. However, a need to make a transition to a senior care facility full time is not necessary at this time. What to do?

Your dilemma isn't a new one to us. That is why we extended our services in 2008 to include our new adult day program. We've spent a lot of time perfecting our program to meet your specific needs. It's not only affordable, but has been designed to maintain and improve your loved one's level of independence by addressing emotional, social, recreational, intellectual, spiritual and physical needs. All of our clients are placed in peer groups and participate in a variety of activities, which meet each individual's needs and desires. Many seniors withdraw from social activities as they age; we reintroduce them to the enriching social environment of Franciscan Village and the happiness and joy our amenities offer.

Our program is appropriate for any person who:

• Has physical, psychosocial or mental impairments
• Needs activities to improve or maintain an optimum level of functioning and quality of life
• Requires supervision because a caregiver isn't always available
• Is isolated due to health problems
• Might be at risk of premature institutionalization

• Works full-time and is overwhelmed
• Needs time during the week to run errands
• Requires a break from the role of caregiver
• Values the benefits of adult day services and what it affords their loved one
• Wants to do something positive for a loved one

• Hourly rates/flexible scheduling
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Pre-registration and enrollment allows your loved one to be assessed so we can provide the best service and care. Preferences, medical history, current needs and goals are all discussed at this time
